Proposition 68:

In June of 2018, California voters approved Proposition 68 (Prop 68) - the Parks, Environment, and Water Bond - to fund local park rehabilitation, creation, and improvement, in addition to other environmental projects.

The City of San Pablo is pursuing grant funds through Prop 68 to renovate and expand the existing facilities at 2600 Moraga Road (also known as the El Portal Soccer Fields).

The City will be seeking community input on this park renovation throughout the Spring and Summer of 2019.  The City will apply for grant funding in the Summer and Fall of 2019.  If the City is awarded grant funding, the City will hold additional community meetings to finalize project design.
