After three years of project planning, the City of San Pablo will begin construction in October 2023 on the City’s new San Pablo Police Department (SPPD) HQ and Regional Training Center in San Pablo, California.
The project involves the design and construction of a two-story building of approximately 42,000 square feet, located on a 2.26-acre lot adjacent to the new City Hall at the corner of Gateway Avenue and Chattleton Lane. This state-of-the art facility will not only serve as the City’s new police headquarters (HQ), but will include a new Emergency Operations Center (EOC); and will serve as new regional training facility not only for the San Pablo Police Department, but for other law enforcement agencies located in Contra Costa County, potentially including the entire East Bay region.
