In 2011, the City of San Pablo completed the City’s Greenhouse Gas Inventory. The Greenhouse Gas Inventory provided baseline information on the City's emissions. The City has since developed a Climate Action Plan that provides a policy framework to reduce our city's greenhouse gas emissions, while also promoting city improvements to increase livability, health and safety of our community.
The City has already begun implementation of a number of Climate Action Plan measures and will be tracking and reporting on their effectiveness on a continual basis. The Climate Action Plan is a living document that will be updated as new science and information becomes available.
