Administration


The San Pablo Police Department Administration is currently comprised of Interim Chief Brian P. Bubar, Captain James Laughter, Lieutenant Shawn Ray, Lieutenant Dan Wiegers, Lieutenant Bradley Lindblom, Lieutenant Ravinder Singh, Support Services Manager Peggy Chou and Police Executive Assistant Tracey L. Thebodeau. The command staff collectively represent nearly 80 years of continuing San Pablo police experience. 

The Chief of Police is the Chief Executive of the Department, and is responsible for its overall operations and personnel. The Chief is also responsible for ensuring the San Pablo Lytton Casino complies with their applicable tribal gaming code. 

Captain Bubar is responsible for Services (Investigations & Support Services),  Legal/Civil Litigation, Building, RIPA, IT, CAD/RMS
 
Captain Laughter is responsible for Patrol Operations, CRU, Policy & Procedures, Hiring/Casino Backgrounds, Fleet
 
Lieutenant Ray is responsible for POP, Code Enforcement, Community Outreach, County Homelessness Board Member, Drone, Mental Health Liaison
 
Lieutenant Wiegers is responsible for Special Investigations Unit (S.I.U.), Juvenile Education Welfare Liaison (J.E.W.L.), Blueteam/IA Pro, Social Media

Lieutenant Lindblom is responsible for Patrol (Staffing/Scheduling), Traffic & Motors, Bike Patrol, Regional CCRT

Lieutenant Singh is responsible for(Staffing/Scheduling), Explorers & Cadets, K-9, Jailers, EOC, Bicycle Patrol

Support Services Manager Peggy Chou is responsible for Budget, PRA Requests, Building, Grants, RIPA, CAD/RMS, Public Information Officer (PIO),
