The morning of Friday, January 5th, 2024 R3 Consulting, the City of Richmond, and the City of San Pablo released the Request for Proposal (RFP) for solid waste collection services starting July 1, 2025. To access the RFP and associated documents, go to www.ci.richmond.ca.us/bids, go to the Contracting/Purchasing Opportunities section and click on Bid Opportunities, and then search for “Solid Waste Collection Agreement”.
Proposals are due on March 15, 2024, by 4 p.m. There is a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on January 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. via zoom. You can register for the meeting https://ci-richmond-ca-us.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_eKDSBX2tQA2UHaLHsqpn0A. You must register in advance for the Zoom webinar. Form A (Communications Protocol) from the RFP documents is also due January 22nd, by 4 p.m.
Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted via the Q&A Tab in the BidsOnline system for this RFP and are due no later than February 12, 2024, by 5 p.m. Answers will be provided via addendum through the BidsOnline system and will be posted by February 26, 2024.
